Hill Audit is a company specializing in auditing and financial management services, offering comprehensive audit services, assurance services, corporate legal advice, accounting expertise, and tax consulting.

Hill Audit’s brand identity and website were in need of a refresh and update for the modern era. The brand was envisioned to have a fresher, more youthful look that better reflects its position as a pioneer in the industry. For the website in particular, key objectives were defined as delivering an excellent user experience, strong visual appeal, and clear differentiation from competitors. The site also needed to present the company’s services and offerings in a clear and commercially effective way.

The target brand attributes were defined as agile, credible, fresh, knowledgeable, youthful, pioneering, reliable, approachable, and friendly.

Visual identity refresh

The visual identity refresh process began in September 2024 with comprehensive workshops where Redandblue’s experts and Hill Audit’s project team collaboratively developed the new look through various individual and group exercises. The work was intensive and productive, as Hill Audit’s staff were genuinely committed to the refresh.

The new visual identity was designed to be clear, modern, and distinct from competitors. As part of the refresh, the logo was updated for better readability and a lighter visual feel. The redesigned logo now better reflects the company’s strategic direction and values while remaining easily recognizable and timeless. The color palette was refreshed to be brighter and lighter, while still maintaining the sense of professionalism the industry demands. Typography was chosen to support readability and convey the image of a modern expert.

One element of the brand identity is a refreshed illustration concept, with a visual style inspired by the shapes of traditional calculator numbers. The illustrations can be used as standalone highlights or as broader background surfaces or patterns. The photo concept was also updated, with branded photography conducted at Hill Audit’s office. During the shoot, portrait photography was captured as well, incorporating video footage.

The result of the brand identity design was a comprehensive brand book, which documents all elements of the visual identity: the logo, color palette, typography, illustrations, and applications for various use cases.

Conceptualization and design of the web service

During the conceptual phase of the website redesign, the site structure, key functionalities, and user journeys were defined. Special attention was paid to how services and experts are presented, ensuring the website effectively supports business needs.

In the user interface and visual design phase, elements of the new brand identity were used to create a cohesive and distinctive way to bring the brand online. Recognizable pattern graphics appear throughout the site as background elements. Various illustrations and charts were also created as part of the overall design to reinforce the visual identity.

To showcase the staff with personality and vitality, short videos were filmed in addition to traditional photographs. These videos bring movement and life to the site, highlighting the experts’ personalities through subtle motion.

Solution description

The technical implementation of Hill Audit’s WordPress web service began in December 2024. Custom content types were created for articles, services, and experts, enabling flexible content management and tailored presentation for all content.

A distinctive feature of the site is the short videos of the experts, which are displayed on the people and contact pages. These videos provide visitors with an authentic impression of Hill Audit’s experts and bring an element of surprise to the site.

The site structure was designed to serve different visitor groups, whether a new potential client, an existing customer, or a job seeker. Navigation and content grouping were implemented with a user-centric approach to make finding information as effortless as possible.

Cooperation and continuous development

Redandblue’s collaboration with Hill Audit continues beyond the launch of the website. The site was published in early March 2025 and received positive feedback during the first weeks from both clients and Hill Audit’s own staff.

The website maintenance is handled by redandblue, ensuring technical performance and security also in the future. Collaboration continues with quarterly meetings, where the site’s functionality is reviewed, future development needs are planned, and analytics are assessed.

The continuous development model enables the website to evolve alongside Hill Audit’s business. The site can be expanded and updated as needs change, for example by adding new sections or functionalities.

The renewed brand identity and digital service together have created a modern, distinctive, and professional image for Hill Audit, reflecting the company’s values and position in the market. The renewal has strengthened Hill Audit’s brand and built a strong foundation for future growth and development.
